VTS Academy

We provide our students with real time situations designed to make them familiar with International Maritime Vocabulary and Communications protocols as well as handle safe traffic management of multiple vessels in difficult situations.

Courses Offered

IALA V-103/1 VTS OPERATORS COURSE

A 12 day course for certified navigating officers and 18 days course for uncertified mariners with adequate sea experience or ex-Naval petty officers from the executive or radio branch. Course consists of extensive classroom training, practicals and simulator training.

IALA V-103/2 VTS SUPERVISORS COURSE

A 12 day course for those holding IALA V-103/1 course certificate and minimum one year experience as a VTS Operator at a VTS Station. Course consists of extensive classroom training, practicals and simulator training.
